The world is a tough place to live in these days because money is scarce. We’ve got mortgage payments to make every month and groceries to buy all the time. It’s nice when you can save a little money and today I’m going to show you how you can. Here are a few apps you’ll need to download to your phone and you’ll be able to start saving money straight away.
Some people don’t spend enough money because they only want to buy when the right deal turns up. If that sounds like you I think the RetailMeNot app is going to help you out considerably. It’s packed with thousands of coupons you can keep inside your pocket and you can use them at your favorite stores online and offline. You don’t even need to print the coupons out before you go shopping because you just need to show the person behind the checkout your phone.
This app is a little similar except it works in a completely different way. When you see something you like you’re supposed to scan the barcode and upload it into the app. Then you can forget about it and your shopping buddy will scan the internet looking for the cheapest prices available. Whenever it notices the price has dropped it will notify you immediately so you can buy it. The app will also alert you when any vouchers become available and you can save money that way too.
Does your boyfriend always complain when you walk in and out of a hundred shops when you force him to go shopping with you? You might now have an excuse because you’ll earn lots of points with Shopkick by walking into specific stores. You’ll also earn more points by scanning bar codes and buying things. Once you’ve saved up enough of them you’ll be able to redeem your points for a voucher to one of your favorite shops as long as it’s on the list.
If mortgage rates go up you’ll need to start finding a little extra each month from somewhere and you might be able to do it using this app. If you’re going to buy something you might as well get a little money back when you do. When you need to buy something from a shop you can scan the barcode before paying for it then scan the receipt once you’re done. You will be able to build up money in your Ibotta account and you can transfer everything over to Paypal and a few other places.
Before you can start using this app you’ll need a loyalty card for a supermarket or drugstore. Take a look around and find some of the best deals you like then click on them so they get added to your loyalty card. Once you pay for your purchases using your loyalty card your money will automatically be added to your account within the app. When you have a little money saved up you can transfer it to a number of different places including your own bank account
